Mumbai police: Vindoo linked to betting, not spot-fixing as yet

The Mumbai police say that Vindoo's role is linked to heavy betting, and there is no evidence of spot-fixing as yet. The police are probing Vindoo's role in a match between the Mumbai Indians and the Chennai Super Kings in April in Chennai, where he was photographed sitting next to MS Dhoni's wife Sakshi.

The Telegraph, Calcutta, writes that Vindoo is known for posing for pictures near well-known people at parties, a skill he perfected after becoming a fixture on the reality show circuit. It need not mean that he was friends with everyone in the photo frame.
