Vidarbha region reels under intense heat wave

Vidarbha region in Maharashtra continues to reel under intense heat wave conditions, with Chandrapur today recording 47.9 degree Celsius, the highest maximum temperature in the region this season.

According to the Regional Meteorological Centre, today's temperature in Amravati was 47.8 degree Celsius, while it was 47.5 Celsius in Nagpur.
