Spot-fixing scandal: Ranji Trophy player detained

Delhi police say that a Ranji Trophy player, Baburao Yadav has been detained in Delhi. Interrogation is on. Yadav had introduced a fixer to Ajit Chandila. The Delhi Police say they have found Rs. 20 lakh in cash, stacked up ironically in a cricket kit, at the Faridabad home of a relative of cricketer Ajit Chandila, who was arrested last week on allegations of spot-fixing.
Meanwhile, Chandila and bookie Jiju Janardhan have been sent to the CFSL to give their voice samples.
