15-car convoy accompanies Sanjay Dutt to TADA court

Sanjay Dutt is expected to stop at the Mahim dargah on his way to the TADA court to surrender, says CNN IBN, but that may or may not happen. He left his home a few minutes ago for the court accompanied by a convoy of 15 cars. With him in his car, was wife Manyataa.

Dutt will be taken to a government hospital, likely to be St George hospital, for the mandatory medical test before he is incarcerated. Alternatively, a medical test can also be conducted inside the jail. He may then be taken to Yerwada jail in Pune, though normally transfers to other jails like Nashik and Pune take place over weekends.
