UK girl's death: Punjab Cong demands judicial probe

The Punjab Congress today demanded a judicial probe into the "mysterious" death of an eight-year-old British Sikh girl on April 2 at Khanna in Ludhiana district.

"The mysterious death/murder of Gurkiran Kaur, a UK national at a Ludhiana clinic on April 2, brings to fore the crumbled, shattered and very medieval type obsolete medical health care system of Punjab," Punjab Congress spokesman Sukhpal Singh Khaira said.
