Hurriyat extends support to India, Pak on Kashmir issue

Moderate Hurriyat Conference today said it will extend all possible support to India and Pakistan if the two countries demonstrate the political determination to resolve the Kashmir issue in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of the people of the state.

"We are hopeful that the leadership of India and Pakistan, in the interest of the better future of the south Asian region, will demonstrate political determination to resolve the longstanding Kashmir issue. Hurriyat will extend all possible support in this meaningful exercise," the amalgam said in a statement after a joint meeting of its executive and general councils.
