PM congratulates Siddaramaiah

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today congratulated Siddaramaiah on his election as chief minister of Karnataka.

The prime minister also wished him "well for the future."

Siddaramaiah was on Friday elected as the leader of the Congress Legislative Party in the state.
