"India and China are working on a new Border Defence Cooperation Agreement," said Khurshid.

"We did not do any post-mortem or put blame for the recent incursion; the established mechanisms worked well," said Khurshid.

"India and China underlined that things like the recent incursion in Ladakh should not happen, but also agreed that this issue should not come in the way of improving ties," said Khurshid.
