Karnataka polls: Siddaramaiah, Kumaraswamy lead

Rediff.com's Vicky Nanjappa gives us a minute-by-minute update of what is happening in Karnataka.

Counting has commenced and the BJP is leading in 12 constituencies, while the Congress is leading in nine. The JD(S) has taken the lead in 5 constituencies while the KJP, BJP and an Independent have the lead in one seat each. Congress leader, Siddaramaiah is leading at the Varuna constituency while H D Kumaraswamy of the JD(S) is leading at Ramnagar.
