Counting of votes gets underway in Karnataka

The counting of votes to decide the fate of the Karnataka legislative assembly has just commenced.

Counting commenced first at the Hassan centre in Karnataka amidst tight security.

Counting in the rest of the centres will commence in the next 20 minutes.

The fate of 2940 candidates will be decided today.

The trends would become clear by around 11 am and the results would most likely be known by noon.
