Sonia hugs Sushma in Central Hall, Parl logjam may end

CNN IBN reports that the Congress is in back-channel talks with the BJP to ensure that the Parliament logjam ends and the Food Security Bill is passed. Sonia apparently met Sushma Swaraj in the Central Hall of Parliament and hugged her. The BJP has deputed Anant Kumar to head the back channel talks. So far, Anant Kumar has spoken to NCP chief Sharad Pawar, a key ally of the Congress, who has spoken to the PM. Pawar also met SP leaders urging that the Food Security Bill be passed.

If BJP agrees to attend, the government will call and all-party meeting headed by the prime minister, and sort out the issue. The BJP raised a ruckus in Parliament today asking for the resignation of the PM and the two tainted minsiters -- Ashwani Kumar and PK Bansal.
