Ashwani may quit as law minister, Sibal likely to take over

Rediff.com correspondent reports: The fate of Law Minister Ashwani Kumar hangs in balance. And if he steps down Telecom Minister Kabil Sibal may be given the additional portfolio.

The Central Bureau of Investigation has reportedly made it clear in its affidavit that the status report on the coal scam was shown to Ashwani and he had ordered removal of a paragraph which was critical of the Prime Minister's Office.
