Union Cabinet clears three bills

A correspondent reports from Delhi: On Thursday, the Union Cabinet cleared three bills for introduction in Parliament.

A senior Union minster quipped, "The Cabinet clears bills dhada dhun (quickly) but gets unlucky when it reaches Parliament".

No Union minister has introduced a bill in Parliament in the budget session due to the logjam over coal-gate scam.
