Did PMO try to save a coal firm named in CBI report?

A correspondent reports from Delhi: Buzz in the corridors of power is that the Prime Minister's Office was keen to save a coal company owned by a Congress MP in the coal-gate scam.

Is it a fact that the name of the firm was removed from the status report filed in Supreme Court in early March 2013.

On why the PMO was keen to save the Congress MP, a Union minister said, "Wait and watch the high drama'.
