Sheela Bhatt reports from Durban: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, while speaking with Russian President Vladimir Putin during a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the ongoing BRICS Summit, has promised the latter that the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant in Tamil Nadu's Tirunelveli district will be operational by next month.
