Lok Sabha adjourned for the day, to reconvene on April 22

The Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day today after it failed to transact any business for the third consecutive day following the uproar over the Sri Lankan Tamils issue.

The adjournment marks the end of the first part of the Budget Session. The remaining part of the session would start from April 22, after a four-week recess.
