Kidnapped Delhi boy rescued in Gwalior

A two-year-old boy from Delhi, who was kidnapped by four persons from outside a Gurudwara in Gwalior on Sunday, was rescued by the police after an encounter with his captors. 

'Amrit Singh was rescued from University area last evening after the police swooped down on his abductors, who had demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakh, following a tip-off," the police said today. 

The child was kidnapped on March 17 from outside a gurudwara by the gang led by Vicky Bansal alias Vijay Jatav, they said, adding that Amrit was visiting the place along with his parents Gurbachan Singh and Renuka Kaur, residents of Ashok Nagar in New Delhi.
