Congress issues whip, asks all MPs to be present

Congress Party has ruled out the possibility of holding early national elections in the wake of the DMK's pullout from the ruling UPA coalition.

Apprehending that the opposition may seize the opportunity to move a no confidence motion, the party on Wednesday issued a whip to all its MPs in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, asking them to be present in the House without fail today and tomorrow.
