Will DMK pull out of UPA over Eelam issue?
March 19, 2013  08:34
DMK may pull out of the ruling UPA coalition over its stand on the Sri Lankan civil war, media reports claimed on Tuesday morning.

The party may continue providing outside support to the UPA.

Senior Union ministers AK Antony, P Chidamabram and Ghulam Nabi Azad had met DMK chief M Karunanidhi on Monday to resolve the issue.

Karunanidhi wants Parliament to adopt a resolution which states that "genocide and war crimes had been committed and inflicted on the Eelam Tamils by the Sri Lankan army and the administrators".
