Pak Parliament completing five years is truly historic: US

The US today termed as "truly historic" Pakistan parliament's completion a full term of five years in the country's history. "The US congratulates the Pakistani parliament on the completion of its term. This is truly historic," State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland told reporters at her daily news conference.

There is a period of time now where a transitional government will be formed in order to take the elections forward, she added.
