CPI: Govt is desperate to survive

CPI leader D Raja says the resolution against the Sri Lanka government should use the word genocide over its treatment of Lankan Tamils. The DMK may have a loss of credibility, but the UPA is a party in crisis and it is desperate to survive. He says the government has to first put up the resolution, after which the CPI will decide whether to support it. The government can't just be a mute spectator, it has to state its stand on the Geneva resolution
