BJP President Rajnath Singh has given a list of suggestions for the positions of General Secretary and Vice President of the party. Singh has discussed the same with RSS leaders and the new team is expected to be announced by March 20.

What we can reveal is that that there is no major representation from south India. Sushma Swaraj has objected to two names, while LK Advani wanted to push two of his close confidantes to the post.

The general secretary is likey to be chosen among the following: Anant Kumar, Amit Shah, Thavarchand Gehlot, Murali Dhar Rao, JP Nadda, Ram Lal, Muqtar Abbas Naqvi, Balbir Punj, Jual Oram or Faggan Singh Kulsate, Saroj Pandey.

For Vice president: Uma Bharti, CP Thakur, SS Ahluwalia, Yashwant Sinha, Shahnawaz Hussain, Vinay Katiyar, K Mishra and Prabhat Jha
