March 15, 2013  12:40
India has called off the Indo-Pakistan bilateral hockey series with were to be held from April 5 in India and April 25 to May 2 in Pakistan. This comes after there was anguish and anger in Parliament today over the Pakistan Parliament's resolution condemning the hanging of Afzal Guru. The BJP said there cannot be normalisation of ties with that country after its polity gave stamp of approval on the terror attack on Indian Parliament.  Two suspected Pakistani terrorists, disguised as cricketers had on Wednesday stormed a CRPF camp in Srinagar in a 'fidayeen' (suicide) attack, the first major strike in the city in three years.
