TRS flays Azad, Vayalar Ravi over Telangana comments

Objecting to some of the recent comments of Union Ministers Ghulam Nabi Azad and Vayalar Ravi on the Telangana issue, TRS today alleged that the two Congress leaders have hurt the sentiments of people of the region.

Telangana Rashtra Samithi President K Chandrasekhar Rao, who spoke at a gathering of women in Hyderabad, referred to the comments of Azad, who had said a month may not exactly mean 30 days for taking a decision on a sensitive issue like Telangana.

He also criticised Ravi for saying recently that taking a decision on a contentious issue like Telangana is not as easy as preparing a 'dosa'. "The Telangana women would grind Congress like 'dosa' batter and throw it out," the TRS chief said.
