PM to thank President Pranab tomorrow

The prime minister's scheduled speech thanking President Pranab Mukherjee, which was likely to take place today, has been scheduled for tomorrow, since the Parliament was adjourned. The BJP has said that it is willing to hold talks with the government on the anti-rape ordinance, but the Bill, which expires on April 4, will have to be taken up in Parliament immediately.
