Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi knew about the planned encounter of four people, including Ishrat Jahan, in 2004, a senior police official has told the CBI.

The CBI is set to submit a testimony to this effect in the court next week, reports Tehekla.

The IPS officer overheard a conversation between Rajendra Kumar of the IB and  DG Vanzara of the Crime Branch, during which the top cops claimed that both Modi and his confidant Amit Shah knew about the planned encounter.
