EC issues notice to Munde after claim that he spent Rs 8 cr on campaign

The Election Commission today issued notice to Bharatiya Janata Party leader Gopinath Munde for his poll expenditure remarks. The commission had asked Munde to explain within 20 days on his remarks that he spent Rs 8 crore in 2009 Lok Sabha poll campaign.
