Union Minister Beni Prasad Verma is now becoming too hot to handle and has been emitting venom against SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav. Verma's nasty comments (we can't tell you what he said, this being a family website) on Mulayam is certain to create discomfort for the UPA in the ensuing monsoon session of Parliament. We can expect the Samajwadi Party MPs to rush to the treasury bench to threaten and intimidate Verma.

Meanwhile, the CPI's D Raja has won the Rajya Sabha polls, but a certain A Raja has lost the game not only in the DMK but also in the JP. We're not saying this -- that's what a senior DMK MP told us.
