Just in: Uttarakhand chief minister Vijay Bahuguna says the Kedarnath temple will rebuilt by the state. In effect, Bahuguna has snubbed Narendra Modi and the Centre, since both the Gujarat chief minister and the Centre had offered to rebuild the temple complex. The Centre had said that the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) will reconstruct the temple. Union Culture Minister Chandresh Kumari Katoch on Monday said that the ASI would renovate the Kedarnath temple and other ancient monuments in the state with the help of Uttarakhand government.
