Army: Jungle Chatti evacuated, 500 rescued from Harsil, 800 from Badrinath

-- 500 people have been evacuated from Harsil by air and 800 people have been evacuated from Badrinath today.

-- A veterinary medical aid team treated more than 100 animals today on the Hemkund axis.

-- The Army search operations in Jungle Chatti continued for the third day. No stranded pilgrims found for the third consecutive day.

-- More than 33,000 people evacuated by Army -- 25,000 of them by foot while 8000 were moved by helicopter.
