2 jawans killed in attack on army convoy in Srinagar

Mukhtar Ahmad reports: Ahead of the Prime Minister's visit to J&K tomorrow, a firing was reported at an army convoy in the Haidarpura area near Srinagar, the police said. Two jawans have been killed when terrorists attacked an army convoy near the Jammu-Muzzafarabad highway, according to a police source.

According to the source, paramilitary reinforcements have been called in.
