No shortage of tuberculosis drugs: Azad

The government today said there was no shortage of tuberculosis drugs in the country and more stocks will arrive by July end. The World Health Organisation also supported the government's claim saying there was no shortage and steps have already been initiated to ensure replenishment of stocks of such drugs.

Rejecting media reports about shortage of anti-TB drugs, Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad said his ministry has already placed orders for more stocks which will arrive by July end.
