Modi seeks appointment to meet Advani

Gujarat CM Narendra Modi has sought an appointment with BJP patriarch L K Advani in Delhi today.

Advaani had resigned from all party posts after Modi was appointed the chief of the BJP's campaign committee for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.

He later withdrew his resignation after the RSS intervened to end the face-off within senior leaders of the party.

Modi has already met BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi in Delhi.

Modi, who is in the national capital to participate in a meeting of the Planning Commission, may meet others party leaders too.
