BJP: It is Nitish Kumar who sent JD-U goons to beat us up
June 18, 2013  11:40
BJP workers have blocked NH-30 near Katihar. BJP spokeseperson Rajiv Pratap Rudy tells CNN IBN that Nitish Kumar had assured people that there would be no violence on the strteets. "But there is no police bandobast on the streets. This is the beginning of the end of the JD-U and Nitish Kumar. We think there is Nitish's hand in the clashes. The chief minister of a state is inciting violence! He has sent JD-U workers to the BJP office to beat them up," said Rudy.

JD-U workers maintain that it is the BJP that is betraying people by calling the bandh.

Nitish Kumar, meanwhile, has thanked the PM for calling him secular and says there is no political message in it.
