Heavy rains lash Mumbai, road traffic hit

Heavy rains lashed Mumbai today leading to water-logging in several areas and traffic snarls.

According to Traffline, there was traffic jam on the Western Express Highway from Bandra till Malad. All internal roads in Andheri east are clogged. Babasaheb Ambedkar Road and the Eastern Expressway are jammed all the way from Byculla till Ghatkopar. Motorists are advised to use the newly inaugurated Eastern Freeway Corridor.
