Nitish: I do not rule third front

Meanwhile, here's Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar first statement since LK Advani met him yesterday after the JD-U leader has suggested to media sources that the party would reconsider the alliance in the wake of LK Advani's resignation. Now that Advani has 'taken back' his resignation, Nitish says Advani spoke to him yesterday and the JD-U will look at recent political developments and take a decision shortly. He said he did not rule out the possibility of a third front.

Yesterday, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said she had spoken to Naveen Patnaik, Nitish Kumar and Babulal Marandi, her counterparts in Odisha, Bihar and Jharkhand on the formation of a "federal front".
