Yadav, by the way, is also the convenor of the NDA alliance. For now, the alliance with NDA is still on, he says, and adds that the party is "trying to mend ties with the BJP."

Sharad Yadav says the party's respect for LK Advani is still intact. Remember, the party's main grouse is against Narendra Modi, and not the BJP per se.
