Upset over Modi issue, Advani to skip BJP meet today: Sources

Bharatiya Janata Party veteran L K Advani will not be travelling to Goa today to attend the parliamentary committee meet.

Though he has said that he will skip the meet due to illness, insiders say that he has been upset over the Narendra Modi issue. Ahead of the two-day conclave, central office-bearers of the party will meet this afternoon to discuss the agenda of the meeting.

The party has also reportedly decided to reject a proposal to announce two election committees, as suggested by Advani. The Gujarat CM will be made the head of the election committee and the announcement is expected over the weekend.

However, Advani will attend the national executive meet of the party, which will begin in Goa tomorrow.
