Congress condemns attack on lensmen

West Bengal Congress leaders said that the alleged attack today on three media people by suspected Trinamool Congress supporters was nothing but an attempt to hide the misdeeds of the ruling party.

"(The assault is) a dangerous sign for parliamentary democracy and comes at a time when opposition parties are facing attacks by Trinamool Congress over filing nominations for the panchayat polls," said WBPCC president Pradip Bhattacharya.
