Britain revives links with Myanmar's military establishment

Britain has launched a push to revive relations with Myanmar's military, with the UK's Chief of Defence Staff visiting the country and offers of help with security reforms.

General Sir David Richards this week became the first western military chief to visit Myanmar in decades and hold official talks with his counterpart, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
