Full day for Narendra Modi today. After his meeting with Rajnath Singh, the Gujarat CM is now headed to meet LK Advani. Advani has given in to populist demand and given his nod to the appointment of Modi to head a committee that would oversee the party's campaign and strategy for upcoming Assembly elections. But Advani's decision comes with a rider.

The senior leader wants a formation of separate election management committee headed by a different person other than Modi, to oversee the state Assembly elections and 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Four states including Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi are scheduled to go to elections later this year.
