PM to meet CMs today, focus on anti-Naxal strategy, NCTC

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has called for an internal security meeting of the chief ministers of all states. Anti-Naxal battleplan in wake of the recent attack in Chhattisgarh and National Counter Terrorism Centre are expected to be the main focus of the meet.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa have decided to give a skip to the meet.

Among the non-Congress CMs attending the conference are Gujarat CM Narendra Modi, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Madhya Predesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik and Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah.
