Chinese-American released from China

Just ahead of a meeting between US and Chinese presidents, a Chinese-American scientist was allowed to leave China after being kept there for five years over a business dispute. 

It all happened so fast, Hu Zhicheng's wife couldn't get to the airport in time to meet him when he finally arrived back in America.

Hu, an internationally known expert on catalytic converters for motor vehicles, had gone to court several times over the years to try to get permission to leave the country and return to his Southern California home. His wife, Hong Li, meanwhile, had steadfastly lobbied US officials for help.
