Advani's rider over Modi puts BJP in a fix

CNN-IBN reports: Bharatiya Janata Party patriarch L K Advani has put a rider on making Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi the party campaign panel chief for the 2014 elections.

Advani has told BJP chief Rajnath Singh to form a a parallel for the five state assembly polls later this year. The party is in a bind on who will head the second committee.

Advani had proposed Nitin Gadkari's name for the second panel, but the former BJP president said no.
