Conditional bail for Vindoo, Meiyappan

Vindoo Dara Singh and Gurunath Meiyappan are in Arthur Road Jail and till the bail orders reach the jail, they will remain in jail. It typically takes a few hours for the order to reach and after the formalities are over with, the two and three other bookies should be out of jail by this evening. The bail was given on parity as two others were given bail in the case. The two and three bookies cannot leave the country while out on bail. The bail was granted on a surety of Rs 25,000 each. They will also have to appear before the crime branch office every alternate day.

Vindoo and Meiyappan had been given judicial custody till June 14. They were in custody for almost 13 days.
