The Rathi family had sent their daughter Preeti to Mumbai a month ago, hoping that her job in the Navy would ease their financial situation. On Monday, Preeti's body returned home. An unidentified attacker had thrown acid on the 23-year-old the moment she alighted at Bandra station.
