Egypt's highest court rules parliament as unconstitutional

Egypt's apex court today ruled as unconstitutional the election of the Islamist-dominated upper house of Parliament and the Constituent Assembly that was tasked with drafting the country's first post-revolution Constitution.       

The Supreme Constitutional Court also ruled that the Shura Council would not be dissolved until a new parliament is elected.
