Board of Control for Cricket in India president N Srinivasan has reportedly been served an ultimatum by members of the board: "You go or we go."
"I don't think we can function now. The BCCI has to appoint new members," said Retired Justice T Jayaram Chowta, who is a part of the three-man inquiry commission probing the alleged betting charges against Srinivasan's son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan.
The BCCI emergency meet, which was to be held on June 8, is likely to the rescheduled. According to sources, the process of calling the emergency meeting has begun and a decision is expected in the next 24 hours.
