Murthy on Infosys return: A 2nd innings for me, new challenge

N R Narayana Murthy, who was appointed as the executive chairman of Infosys, said a press conference, today, "When I left, I had never imagined I will return to Infosys. Infosys has been the story of my adult life. I was in a dilemma when I was asked to return. I had to consider carefully if I wanted to return."

"I am very thankful to everyone.This is a second innings for me and a new challenge. I am glad to add value and the quickest way to add value is to use competencies of small teams," he added.

Murthy has stepped down from the company in 2011.
