A month back Murthy said: I don't see a comeback

Infosys co-founder N R Narayana Murthy made a surprise comeback today as the executive chairman of the struggling information technology company. Company insiders and investors have been wanting Murthy come out of retirement and do what Steve Jobs did at Apple Inc.

And less than a month back, he ruled out the possibility.In an interview to Live Mint on May 7, Murthy said, "At this stage, looking at the data that I have, I wouldn't say that. So, who knows what happens in the future, I am not gone, cannot say what I will do tomorrow, I may not be there tomorrow morning. So, it is not possible for me to predict what will happen tomorrow."

"Sitting where I am, looking at the data, I don't see that happening. I think it's all speculation," he added.
